Interim Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

About the Company

Our client is a leading multinational organisation in the services sector.

About the Position

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Interim Head of FP&A will be a key strategic partner to the executive team, responsible for driving financial insights, budget planning, and decision support across the organisation. The role involves leading a high-performing FP&A function that provides accurate forecasting, performance reporting, and commercial analysis to support strategic and operational objectives.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced finance leader with strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven ability to translate data into actionable insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the organisation’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
  • Provide commercial and strategic insight to support executive decision-making
  • Deliver accurate and timely performance reporting across key business areas
  • Partner with senior leaders to support business planning, investment appraisal, and resource allocation decisions
  • Enhance the quality and efficiency of financial modelling, scenario analysis, and planning processes

Experience/Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA with 10+ years post qualification experience 
  • Experience in Finance leadership roles managing a medium to large sized team 
  • Significant experience in senior FP&A or strategic finance roles within complex, multi-entity organisations
