About the Position

Reporting to the Global Head of Operations and a member of the Global Operations Leadership Team, this Head of Strategic Programs is a critically important role, responsible for driving strategy, overseeing operations performance, transformation, data, governance while ensuring the successful execution of our client’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and implement the strategic agenda across the Global Operations Leadership Team. 
• Drive momentum that supports Operations transformation and commercial growth
• Assess and advise the Global Operations Leadership Team on progress and alignment with the overall strategic agenda. Ensure that the Regional Heads of Operations as well as the Sub-Functional Heads of Operations are accountable for agreed deliverables and that there is a framework in place to assess progress 
• Be the driving force for the implementation of change initiatives, defining the program scope, goals and deliverables in accordance with agreed KPIs
• Proactively represent the Global Operations function at Group level, ensuring that the organisational and business requirements are advocated and accounted for in relevant decision making
• Overall management of the Global Operations Leadership Team agenda ensuring that agreed actions are delivered
• Ownership of the Global Operations budgetary planning process including planning, design and ongoing management  

Experience/Requirements

• 10 years  plus in change / programme management of which 5+ years’ is operating at a Senior Leadership level in Strategy Development and/or Strategic Project Management. Management Consulting and/or Business Partnering experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of budget planning and ongoing budget management for a large people organisation
• Demonstratable experience of thinking conceptually with involvement in transformation projects of scale
• Ability to interact fluently with senior management and clearly articulate your position
• Capability to operate to tight deadlines where clear summaries are required
